FAE STUDIOS is the platform for my research-informed practice, which encompasses performance, pedagogy, professional development and arts consultancy. My work centers on an ongoing investigation of performance and performance-making as a communicative practice operating transnationally and intergenerationally. 

 

IMy work is committed to nurturing professional artistry across African and diasporic contexts and to collaborating with people of all backgrounds in the investigation of performance as a translocal and transnational practice. Here, “professional” does not signify superiority over social or popular culture, but instead denotes performance contexts with particular functions and features that are enriched by research-informed approaches.
