Some of the projects I am working on this quarter....

 

With the National Centre for Academic and Cultural Exchange (NCACE) I am still researching the concept and practice of artistic practitioner research. Exciting work.

I am working on a short piece of verbatim theatre  for a conference in Germany. The piece is called ‘Fugitive Translations’. This year I have created on three solo performances. I love short form work - Pieces between 5 to 20 minutes long. Maybe I have found my genre :-)

 

I currently have the pleasure of working with ASKI, a charity for elderly people of African and Caribbean descent. I am co-choreographing a piece with Joseph Jeffers the CEO of ASKI, and dance artist Rochelle Weeks-Brown who I first meet as a B.A student on the IRIE! Dance Theatre course. She is a consummate professional now. The piece is called 'Weight of Standing'. I meet the cast early this month. These ladies are all over 60, great fun and rearing to go. The performance will be in November in South London.
